I am one of the co-founders of Charlottesville's longest running, and top homebrew club. I coined the name in an homage to the real CAMRA organization in the UK. I designed all the graphics, site, membership cards and swag that a new member has access to and receives.
New Arcadia Studio was a design collective created to re-introduce a more decorative hand to everyday products.
I worked closely with the artists and principals to adapt sketches, digitize and manipulate original art to comply with FDA guidelines and to make press-ready artwork for various application methods in glass, ceramic and textile.
I developed brand identity through business card design, sell sheet and catalog design, product packaging, and subsequent business collateral. In addition, I designed and built custom e-commerce website.
After I learning what we had tried with the Shipping Decals, printing inside the box was the next option. I worked with our team to develop playful graphics of our customer Advisors (including our founder's dog, Enzo!) along with supportive messages to deliver and reinforce Crutchfield's noble purpose to the customer.
One of my first tasks as art director was to build a style guide. Collaborating with the print art director, we setup a system of conditions to help tighten up the Brand and control how and where our logo was being used.

This was greeted positively by customers, but we found that it was too labor-intensive to continue. The next phase was redesigning the shipping box itself. (Another project posted here)
These guide books were designed to help supplement the product's owner's manuals. Filled with helpful information to make the most out of their new purchase. Booklets were boxed up with every qualified shipment.

I was also responsible for maintaining and upholding corporate Brand Guidelines with our various US suppliers & agencies to comply with global standards. (I earned the playful nickname: "logo-cop" from my colleagues.)
